My Story

I’m intrigued by a person’s story; how they got where they are today.  I often ask others when I first meet them, “What’s your story?”  Because of that, I thought I would tell you my story so you can get to know a little about me and how I got where I am today in my business.

For as long as I can remember, I always wanted to be a teacher.  When I was young, I used to play pretend school and my barbie dolls were my students.  When it was time to go to college, there was a surplus of teachers and I was advised by my high school guidance counselor to pick another vocation.  I was always intrigued by foreign languages and since I already speak two other languages (English is my third language), I set out to study to be an interpreter for the United Nations.

Because life hands you twists and turns, that path was soon cut short and I switched my major to accounting (I loved math) and graduated college with an accounting degree.  Fast forward past the almost 10 years in corporate America and then the 25 years where I owned a successful home-based accounting business and now I am back to my passion of teaching.  It has come full circle.

I’m always learning something new to improve myself and my business.  A few years ago, I discovered a revolutionary method to increase sales.   This revolutionary methodology called B.A.N.K. is a personality assessment system like no other.  Why?  Because in less than 90 seconds, you can determine your prospect’s “buying” personality.  With this information, the sky’s the limit!  By tailor making each and every sales presentation to what your customer values, you are speaking their “buying” language (this is where my love of foreign languages comes in) and you can be secure in knowing that you have their full attention.  Once you “crack” your customer’s personality code, you have the ability to increase your sales by up to 300%.  This is a game changer!  I love to teach entrepreneurs and sales teams how to use B.A.N.K. in their businesses so they too can grow their sales at a much faster rate and dramatically increase their bottom line.  This system makes so much sense!  I loved it so much, I enrolled in the necessary courses to become a licensed and certified trainer so I can not only increase my sales but add that to the various skills that I can teach other entrepreneurs.

Because of my strong financial background and love of education, I finally figured out what I’m meant to do…..it’s helping others improve their bottom line!  I never realized how many entrepreneurs need the basic training, Entrepreneurship 101.    No one teaches you the basic, but important steps,  when you’re launching your business….but I will. I’ll teach you the basics of what you need to know about the financial side of your business, how to increase your sales and how to become a networking pro  I’ve combined all these powerful skills and have put together various programs to help the serious entrepreneur become successful in their business.  (In fact, after multiple requests, I have added a “shadow me” networking addendum to my packages).

I realized that the key to building a successful business is to be passionate about your purpose in life and why you are doing what you’re doing.  Whether it’s helping others with their bottom line, connecting them with someone in my circle of influence or encouraging them to take a leap of faith, I’m passionate about helping others succeed.  By sharing my knowledge, I’m confident that I will make a difference in your life and your business.
